I know it’s hard to believe, considering Nancy Pelosi has called people like me racist, homophobic nutjobs, but in spite of that, I still manage to make friends who are gay and black and sometimes both. If I had to think of one nice thing to say about the president it would be that he has brought together a very diverse group of people who are strongly united…against him. And isn’t it wonderful to discover people who are supposed to be your enemy are actually your friends? There’s a big buzz in the sphere about Hillary supporters breaking bad on Obama. This is not news. If you’ve been following the boys on Hillbuzz.org for any length of time you would know this. This week I had the pleasure of hanging out with Kevin DuJan, Editor in Chief, of Hillbuzz.org. Here’s how you know the Obama brand is destroyed…gay guys in Boystown, Chicago have not only seen through him, but are determined to burn the Democrat Party to the ground for elevating a man who is so clearly out to hurt America.
Kevin recently wrote an open letter to Rush Limbaugh the other day that got some great air play on the show (congratulations Kevin!) And it just so happened we had planned to spend the day together attending the Tea Party Express event out in Will County and going over my radio show prep because Kevin is sitting in for me tonight while I attend a family party (Saturday at 10pm TUNE IN!). It’s going to be a great show considering all the hubub Kevin’s letter to Rush caused over the last two days.
I sat with him and we read the mail he’s received since that letter was discussed by Rush and I am really annoyed at some of the comments. You know me by now. You know who I am and how conservative I am so believe me when I tell you that Kevin DuJan is as hard-core as I am (on almost everything). He’s not a plant. He’s not an infiltrator, and he isn’t out to get you to love Hillary. When a person has a one on one relationship with someone, there is no reason why he should have to explain why he loves that person. All the calls for him to explain his affection for Hillary are silly. If you had worked on her campaign every day for several months, you’d probably like her too. If it weren’t for Hillary, Kevin may never have had the conversion he did. He would never have witnessed the brutality of the Obama campaign against Hillary. The thuggery, intimidation and misogyny regularly used against her was the catalyst to his understanding that the Democrat Party left him. We know there are many millions of conservative-leaning Democrats who don’t even recognize their party anymore. Every one of you should be patting him on the back and congratulating him on his courage instead of berating him with Hillary Derangement Syndrome. (This can be as obsessive and weird as the Palin or Bush Derangement Syndrome. Everyone has their faults…but seriously, it’s enough already.)
No, I didn’t like her. Would she have been a better president than the fool we have now? You betcha. Would I be compelled to drag my kids into the cold and rain to attend Tea Parties to protest Hillary? I highly doubt it. No one would have moved as far left as fast as Barack Hussein “I hate America” Obama. A Hillary presidency would be far more consumed with being liked and well-remembered in the history books. Have I ever doubted Hillary’s love for America? Never. Do I think she really does like baseball even though she can’t figure out if she’s a Cubs fan or a NY fan? Yes. I also think she knows not to put ketchup on a hot dog and how to ride a cruiser without a goofy helmet. Do I think her politics are wrong? Yes. Do I think Hillary would be throwing lavish parties every week and two on the weekends when 15% (and climbing) of Americans are out of work? No way. Do I think she would have destroyed this country by the end of her first term? No. (Implemented more government waste? Yes.) Would I like to have dinner with her? Sure.
None of the above can I say about the current occupant of the White House.
But none of this matters. Hillary isn’t president. She’s not even running for president. So when an ex-Hillary supporter tells you he’s on your side…just thank God for all the help we can get and welcome him into the fold. I really don’t want to see any more hateful comments on Hillbuzz from people who claim to be on my side (and whether they are remains to be seen. I think most of them are lib trolls). But I just wanted to put it out there that conservatives aren’t the ones who care what your color or sexual orientation is. We just want the government out of our lives, out of our pockets and into a much smaller box. Once that happens, the rest of us can live our lives in peace, chasing our own dreams of happiness without interference from government or anyone else. But that can’t happen if we start stupid internal wars about who’s loyal to who.
Kevin DuJan has the potential to be one of the strongest warriors for the message of smaller government, lower taxes and common sense. He’s also going to help lead the charge of ridding the GOP of the Cocktail Party Establishment who are every bit as damaging to us as the Democrats. Not only that, but he’s going to bring a whole lot of new people with him. These are the people who, without him might never have felt they could vote with us. But for his courage to speak out about what the Democrats have done to loyal members of their own party, this tidal wave they keep talking about would be nearly as large or as frightening (to Democrats).
So take the time and leave Kevin a message of encouragement. He’s going to need it with the coming barrage of leftist hatred for daring to step off the Democrat plantation.
